Drupal websites allows new visitors to create account and build user profile; it allows community discussions and polls. Depending on your choice, your website users can be given different permissions to do different things on your website. Some users can be allowed to modify your website content and create new one or even make their own menu. Other users can see only limited content on your website.
Drupal can be an excellent choice if you want to build a portal for people, so that they can use it as a launching point.

Some websites are designed using different frameworks. A framework is an environment where websites are created. A framework can be compared to people who work in the same company; they work in the same building, have the same management, they use the same insurance plan.
Bootstrap framework is an HTML framework for websites. It is versatile and mobile friendly; by the way, Android phones also use the Bootstrap framework.
A nice add-on is the Pure framework. A good example is my website; I built it in Pure framework, which is compatible with Bootstrap and www.webwavedesign.com The advantage of using any HTML framework is website stability, so that websites can render in different browser.
Increasing functionally and enhancing websites with different plugins does not cost anything, as opposed to WordPress, where the cost on every plugin starts from $40. The Bootstrap Framework is a very compatible choice.

Elgg is an open source, it is free to install and modify websites’ layout. Elggs sites allow visitors creating profile, microbloging, using market places , creating their own pages and groups by interests, sending emails, posting pictures and videos.It is similar to Facebook.
